Structa is a modular, open protocol for building and managing decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) on Solana. Inspired by established governance models like Compound and Curve, Structa focuses on simplicity, composability, and flexibility — providing the foundation for scalable and resilient decentralized systems.
Structa operates through three core programs: smart_wallet, govern, and an electorate module (default: locked_voter). Together, these modules form the Structa Core — a decoupled yet interoperable system that distributes responsibility and reduces smart contract risk. Each component can be independently upgraded or governed, allowing DAO teams to remain agile and secure.
Structa is built for long-term sustainability and composability within the Solana ecosystem. It offers essential governance primitives that DAOs can adopt and extend without the need to build from scratch or hand over control of their tokens.
Governance on Solana has traditionally leaned toward centralized practices — often involving upgradeable contracts and private codebases. One of the biggest challenges for teams has been the absence of reusable governance tools and standards.
Structa addresses this gap by offering a minimal but powerful framework that allows DAOs to define, evolve, and manage their governance logic. It includes core mechanics like proposal creation, weighted voting, and modular execution, all designed to be extended and integrated into custom systems.
Additionally, Structa supports vote-locking mechanics that incentivize long-term alignment between protocol users and governance participants.
